Something fun!

So I got a bag of Dove truffle pop mix for free the other day. I thought I had some Popsicle makers.... Unfortunately I have none. So while out and about at Walmart the other day I spotted these cute Popsicle makers! So I bought 2 sets! And I also bought the Jello Popsicle kit maker set! You can really never have to many Popsicle makers!

In the freezer! How much fun is it making Popsicle's!!!

PIZZA!!

Nontraditional pizza it is for lunch today! Today for Khaleesi's and my lunch... I made a pizza! Just a small pizza , very easy to make, and yummy to boot!
No pizza crust used here, so less calories!
So for our ingredients.... I used Mission wraps: Sun Dried tomato, pizza sauce, hot pepper rings (on half the pizza), pepperoni, shredded mozzarella, and sweet peppers !
Here is the pizza ready to go in the oven.
First I sprayed my pan with olive oil.
Then I placed my tortilla on the pan and spread a nice thin layer of sauce. Oh and I sprinkled oregano on the sauce too.
Next comes the other toppings, the pepper rings, the pepperoni, and the sweet peppers.
Last the cheese was sprinkled on top! Maybe a 1/4 of a cup give or take.
Oven has been pre heating to 350 degrees
Baked the pizza for close to 20 minutes. time will vary on your oven.
Finished product. Nice and crispy! Super thin crust pizza! Less calories than your traditional pizza!
Here are a few slices on a plate! Sprinkled with parm cheese and roasted red pepper flakes.

Creamy Tacos!

Now this my friends is a FAMILY favorite! My mother always used to and still does make this all the time. Everyone loves this meal! My hubby says it needs a different name, it took him forever to finally try it, but once he did he was SOLD! it is very yummy and easy to make!
So first gather your ingredients... Velveeta, rotel and hamburger. Also a seasoning packet. I used taco seasoning, my aunt says to use chili seasoning... your choice.
Brown and drain your hamburger, add your preferred seasoning here.

Throw your ingredients in a crock pot... Cubed Velveeta, (the more the cheesier) your rotel (I used 1.5 cans) your hamburger. My aunt says throw in a can of evaporated milk (I did not have any and it turns out just as yummy)
Finished product! Added jalepenos and shredded cheese... plus yummy tortilla chips!

Mini chicken Pot Pies

All you need is ... Can of biscuits (large biscuits)
can of cream of chicken soup
bag of mixed frozen veggies
chicken ( I used a can of chunk chicken)
shredded cheese
You take the biscuits and roll them each out flat.. then fill each cupcake hole in your tin (make sure you sprayed it good first!)
Then you mix together the chicken, about a cup or so of veggies and the soup. Once mixed fill each biscuit. Mine made 2 extras. Top each with shredded cheese.
Put in oven and bake. The recipe said 25 minutes but mine took 30 minutes at 350.

Let's Play a game....

Let's play a game... called guess who needs to go to the grocery store?!?!?!!? You guessed it... This Momma right here....So for lunch is a bit on the vegetarian side... I think lol

Just a little of this and a little of that...

So what we have here is:
2 hard boiled eggs
spicy hummus
cottage cheese
and a bag o veggies (peppers, celery, and carrots)

Ya got your protein, veggies and dairy! Very healthy!
I also had some globe grapes with me for a snack later.

Now since this was a cheeky little post, I decided to add a shot from my left over Bow tie and zucchini pasta....

So this was my left overs from that pasta dish I talked about the other day. I did add a little chicken and some cheese to it to beef up what I had left. It was a great lunch!
If you want the recipe, check out a blog called Bow tie pasta with zucchini from just the other day!

All about that cabbage...

Fried cabbage with bacon

So this dish is a very similar one that my good friend Chasity posted to me to try. How sweet of her, thinking of me like that. ;) We do LOVE cabbage and veggies.. oh and let's not forget BACON .. this family right here LOVES BACON... lol So everyone was all about trying this dish out. It is a winner for sure!
So let's get down to what it is exactly I made....
This is the most photos I have ever posted on a blog to date`~~!

First off, we have the ingredients used!
We have:
*Cabbage
*carrots
*celery
*onion
*bacon
*smokes sausage
*italian chicken sausage
*garlic (not pictured)
 Here we have the tools!
((Yes I know that is my Rachel Ray garbage bowl.. but hey I like to use it as a regular bowl sometimes too!))
*Garbage bowl
*Sharp Knife
*Grater
First I shredded some carrots (8 to be exact, baby carrots that is)
Next I shredded, the cabbage (half the head), and diced my celery (about 2 stalks), Tsp of garlic in here too!

Here is a not so good photo of my sausages cut into slices.

Here is the BACON. 4 slices cooked and all ready to crumble!

 Crumbled BACON.. Ummm yum!

Here is the mixture on the stove about to be served up. Cooking time will vary a bit depending on how soft you want your veggies to be. I think I may have cooked it for 10-15 minutes. (on medium heat)

And the final product! A sprinkle of Italian cheese on top, with a bit of pepper and she is ready to eat!

I hope you enjoy this post and give it a go. It is so easy to make and tastes yummy too!

Until next time

So today's post is rather silly. Of course you can see it is called GET IN MY BELLY! LOL Don't mind me just having a bit of fun! This is going to be a lunch themed blog. I have two lunches to share with you all today!
The first lunch is pretty simple... Chick-fil a! Nothing else needed. What is not to love about that restaurant right there!
As you all probably know we just recently had one open in our area, and my family thinks that is the bees knees!
Anyways...
Here is is folks... DELICIOUSNESS
What we have here is the :
Cold chicken wrap (I ate half and saved the other half for later)
And a side of fruit (shared with Khaleesi)

I could literally eat this every day.

Now this meal here is one I made at home.
What you see is:
A salad with.... chicken, lettuce, tomato, cheese, spinach, carrots, hard boiled egg, a little italian dressing, belle peppers, and a Green Giant protein blend mixed in (that is the mixture you see on top, about a 1/4 of a serving)
This salad is PROTEIN packed out folks! Love it!
And of course a side of cottage cheese, always a yummy addition to just about any meal!

Any questions or comments, hit me up!
